The Master’s Bedroom

The master bedroom must be worthy of a master and so this bedroom should be a symbol of organization. Unlike any other bedroom, the master’s bedroom cannot be only satisfied with a bed and a dresser for furniture; these are not simply enough means of storage for clothes, bed linens and other belongings needed in a master bedroom.

Other means of organization in a master bedroom include a trunk or cedar wood chest, under-bed space, and nightstand drawers and shelves. Trunks and chests can each serve a dual function in the master’s bedroom. There are no specific rules to what to place in a trunk or chest. You can use either the trunk or the chest to store pillows, bed linens and blankets, and at the same time you can use their surfaces as seating or as occasional tables.

Maintenance of a master’s bedroom organization highly depends on frequently asking one’s self what is really needed in the master bedroom. Smart strategies like using up the space under the bed for storage are also important. The placement of sleeping pads for guests under the master bedroom’s bed will occupy the space, thus does not allow loss of something by accidentally sliding under the bed.

Nightstands are found almost in all master bedrooms. The use of nightstands is mainly to place bedside lamps and an alarm, but there are other benefits if the nightstand had drawers. If you like reading before sleeping then you can use a drawer to place one or two of your favorite books. Just take care not to make a master bedroom’s nightstand a library of clutter. Some organized master bedrooms are shown in the pictures below.
